So I say La Di Da Di Daaah

The weather outside is, well, Utah. If you don't like it right now, just wait 5 minutes, it'll change. I'm ready for steady warmth and sunshine, but that wouldn't be normal for spring here, would it?

I have my plane ticket for MO next Monday. I'm flying out, spending a day at my parents', then going on the hunt. Job/house, you name it. To say that I have butterflies in my stomach is to severely underexaggerate. I still don't have my paperwork for the MO nursing license complete. Tomorrow, I will be running around the valley trying to accomplish that.

I'm increasingly excited, nervous, elated, and sad about the move. I'm going to miss my loved ones here SOOO much! I'm SOOO excited to be near my loved ones out there. Wonder if I can get these ones to migrate out there? Maureen and Robin? If you lead the way, maybe your kids would come too? :)

On the super uber exciting news, I'm gonna be an AUNT! Tom and Margo are expecting on November 1!! Yay!! (or to be more accurate, Margo is, but that's the inaccuracy of the English language at play).

Ok, I think that's all...Oh, maybe not. I go back to work on Thursday night. FINALLY!
I'm actually excited to go. See you all then!

AAAAAAAAAHHHHHH

I'm so BOREDboredboredboredboredboredbored. Tammy's not answering the phone or calling me back. I am tired of cross stitching. I don't want to read. I'd cook, but I have no thawed meat. Maybe I could make cookies? Nah, don't want to clean up after. Can't tie bows, don't want to get my germs on 'em. I'm BORED!!!!!!!!!!!

Super duper!

I finally finished scrapping the Superhero Party and I'm really excited how it's turned out. I'm in the process of researching the most economical means of providing copies to all the super duper heroes who attended. Here's another sample, though. :0)

Unfortunately the lighting here is not ideal after dark, so many of the pics are not the best quality. They're still fun, though!

Hack, wheeze, whine

So, as of today, the doctor's verdict is.....(drumroll please)... "Yep, you are definitely sick, and NO YOU CANNOT WORK like this" the last of which she kept repeating for some strange reason. Did she really think I'd try to go to work like this? Oh, and "please don't touch anything on the way out, or we will have to get out the Lysol". (The last was only said half jokingly.)
Someone put me out of my misery!
Oh, and thank you Lorene for loving me (and the R. family)! We all greatly appreciate the homemade love! It's delicious! *remote hugs with no germs attached*

Blech

This bug seems to be metamorphosing and developing a life of its own. On Thursday last week, I went to the Dr. He informed me that the flu was going around, lasting 3-4 days, and to take a couple of days to rest (as I was on day 2 by this point). He even tested me for Influenza A and B and Strep....all of which came back negative. Other than my cough, stuffiness, and overall body soreness, Wed. through Sat. day went by well. By late Saturday, the coughing had significantly increased, I HURT all over, have had constant fevers, am losing my voice from coughing, am as weak and shaky as I was when recovering from mono and am incredibly tired all the time. What happened to 3 to 4 days?! Can I please go back to that please? Think the Dr.'s getting another visit tomorrow!

Bits and bobs

Just when I thought I was on the mend from this nasty respiratory stuff, I realized I probably have overdone things the past two days. My fever is back and I am coughing more than ever. :(
Anyhow, these pictures are from earlier days when I was feeling well. Being sick gives me an excuse to sit and work on my digiscrapping. I had a great time with Trevor and Kryshelle early this week and was glad to be able to watch them for their parents.
My mom, aunt, and cousin are headed east with the majority of the furniture from my grandmother's home, a few other things from there and a few items of mine (they had extra room and volunteered to take some of my stuff now to reduce what has to go later).
